Super convenient for me because I work in the Waterworks Marina (in the 1836 building). Plus it's a great place for my clients to wait and grab a bite or coffee before their appointment if they want.
I just moved into the building at the end of April so I've lunched there (or grabbed lunch on the go) a handful of times. Today I ordered the Tuscany sandwich (which is delicious btw) and Paul noticed that I had been in a few time before and asked if I worked nearby. I said, yes I do indeed work in the next building over, so he gave me a punch card with an extra punch. Punch card? Oh, now that's a punch card I know will get filled (and I have a ridiculous amount of punch cards in my wallet that never get finished). In my mind, it was a nice "welcome to the building" present. Paul told me he's been there for 17 years, so obviously they know what they're doing.
Nice people, super convenient, good food....what more do you need?
They also make a fantastic grilled cheese and ham sandwich. -

Friendly, hard working owners. Quick service and home-y like sandwiches.
I couldn't have anything too heavy so I wanted the "Milano" but simplified to just tomato, cheese and lettuce. I was pretty bummed out they still charged me the full $8.75 for just a tiny sandwich of 3 ingredients.
Overall, this is a great option if you work in the building and want a drink, sandwich or quick bite! -

Paul at Boathouse Deli (On the Mark) is a lunch time success each and every time I go there. I usually stick to a few favorites and if the line is really long he will call out down the line to get orders started while he takes care of ringing. This is one of those places where they know your name and ask about your co-workers and deliver a delicious variety of options. A fully stocked cooler of drinks and a section for the sweet tooth in all of us. Can't go wrong to head this way for lunch!

Small Mom and Pop deli with a good selection of sandwiches, snacks, and drinks. I love their Panini sandwiches in particular! Great spot to have lunch if you're in the area. One other thing, they also serve Caffe Vita coffee.

Paul is the best and I'm always satisfied with my food there! You can tell they really care about their customers and take the time to get to know you a bit. I'd recommend Boathouse Deli to anyone in the area:)
